On these pages you can now watch past video news presentations featured monthly on The Actor's Checklist and shown at most top video upload and file sharing sites across the Net like youtube, myspace, yahoo and google. Unlike those videos, however, the free videos in this archive are without the news and events audio narration providing you with an alternative for your viewing and listening pleasure. We've also provided you with a YouTube video to enjoy while you wait for the main feature to load. Enjoy your new home video space!

This segment features trailers and video clips of metal rock band hailing from London, Die So Fluid (www.myspace.com/diesofluid / www.youtube.com/misspeculiar), with single release from their album Not Everybody Gets A Happy Ending, on Renaissance Records, via Koch Entertainment Distribution USA. Die So Fluid first surfaced in 2001, touring the country in the wake of their debut e.p. Operation Hypocrite, released on Sanctuary. Their sound is a harmonic mixture of metal riffs, post-punk eclecticism and bittersweet grungesque melody.

Indie film short Switch (www.myspace.com/switchmovie), a story about a group of Black single friends discovering that they are incompatible with their current romantic interests and more compatible with the person their friend is dating, is based on the book of the same name and screenplay by Annette Johnson, AllWrite Publishing in Atlanta.

And at the end of the video, special tributes to recently deceased (March & April 2008) industry acting legends, Richard Widmark (December 26, 1914 – March 24, 2008), who established himself as an icon of American cinema with his debut in the 1947 film noir, Kiss of Death (1947), in which he won a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award nomination as the psychopathic murderer "Tommy Udo"; and Charlton Heston (born John Charles Carter; October 4, 1923 – April 5, 2008), an accomplished actor of film, theater and television having played such heroic roles such as Moses in The Ten Commandments, Colonel George Taylor in Planet of the Apes and Judah Ben-Hur in Ben-Hur, the role for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor.
