Directory of TV and Film Studios and Network Broadcasters |
|||||
Historically speaking, one route into acting and film careers for most aspirants has always been through the studio production and/or corporate doors of entertainment media conglomerates. It is unlikely history is about to change any time soon. There are more than a dozen motion picture studios in Los Angeles, ranging from the well-known (Disney, Universal, Fox, Warner Bros., Paramount, Columbia, MGM), to the obscure (Ren-Mar, Raleigh, Sunset-Gower). The studios do list job opportunities of all types, and although talent and performance positions are rare, they can be found. Most positions sought in these establishments are regarded largely for their networking value. Visit their websites or drop them an email for more information. Not all of the studios in Hollywood churn out movies. A good number of them are television studios, producing the wide variety of local & network programming we've come to expect from TV. And virtually all of the motion picture studios in Hollywood produce television shows as well as movies.
