Various philanthropic agencies offer funding in support of the arts, whether in the form of awards for completed work, residencies during which artists and writers can make progress on particular projects, internships, apprenticeships, workshops, or funds for travel or exhibition. The great majority of the following grants, fellowships, and awards selected do not adhere to a regional or jurisdictional limitation, making them available to all who wish to apply.
